The Cape Otway Centre for Conservation Ecology

Conservation Ecology Fellowship

Following the outstanding success of our first Conservation Ecology Fellowship in July 2009 we are already planning for next year.  Dates will be announced shortly but do contact us to register your interest - places will fill very quickly!

Spend one special week in the beautiful surrounds of Cape Otway. Acquire skills and knowledge which will enhance your study and optimise employment opportunities in conservation ecology and related fields - in Australia and across the world. Enjoy the company of people who share your passion for wildlife and the natural world!

Enthusiastic experts will introduce you to their own fields of interest and inspire you as they impart scientific facts and essential knowledge. Learning will be enhanced through hands on field sessions and excursions and delivery by keenly committed conservationists. What makes this Fellowship particularly special is the willingness of these experts to share the secrets they have learned through experiences, trial and error, lengthy observation and dedication.

You will acquire skills that will be useful and applicable in many aspects of your interest or career – from rescuing koalas and administering first aid to recognising bat calls and interpreting a landscape for a group of visitors.
